Want to go diving? Members of the Fins Club are meeting at the Dive Centre on the below dates to go and enjoy the underwater delights of Capernwray (or Eccleston Delph where stated).

Sat 13th August, meet 8.45 at Dive Centre
Wed 17th August, meet 16:30 at Eccleston Delph

If you would like to attend any of the dives contact the Dive Centre to put your name in the diary and to book any cylinders and/or kit you may require.

You must be a club member to attend the club dives.

Christmas party 2011

After the huge success of the 2008, 2009 and 2010 Christmas party at Barton Grange and, due to popular demand, we have rebooked the Christmas party for 2011 at the same venue.

Saturday the 17th of December 2011
The Barton Suite, Barton Grange Hotel
£48.50 per head

Bar opens at 7pm and dinner is served between 7.30pm and 8pm, a menu is available in the Dive Centre. Barton Grange are offering a low room rate of £55.00 per double/twin room.

A deposit of £25 is required at the time of booking, please contact the Dive Centre for further details.

Club Trip to Trearddur Bay

Trearddur Bay, Anglesey Sunday 19th June 2011

North Wales and Anglesey have some great dive sites both offshore and onshore, however for many Trearddur Bay shore dive is special. It encompasses much of the atypical marine life you'll see in this area, and is located amongst a "hotpotch" of gullies, mini-walls, trenches and holes.

Dave Burrows has booked a days rib diving out of Trearddur Bay, North Wales.

The dives will be no deeper than 18m and very possibly only 10m in depth. This is an ideal opportunity for those of you that do not have UK rib diving experience as the dives will be close to land and fairly shallow.

The only requirement is that you are do need a dsmb.

The cost of the diving is £40.00 and you will need to hire 2 cylinders along with any other kit hire.

At the moment the idea is to meet at the shop at 6:30 am for rope off at 9:00 am. This will be confirmed nearer the time as it’s dependant upon tides.

Please contact the dive centre for details and booking. Full payment of £40 is required at the time of booking. You must be a club member to attend club dives/trips.

Club AGM

Annual General Meeting

Time: 7:30pm

Food will be provided after the meeting. Please call in or phone the dive centre to have your name put in the diary so we know how many to cater for.

Everyone is welcome the only prerequisite being that your membership has been renewed. You will be able to renew on the evening and forms will be available for completion (don’t forget to bering your membership fees).
